Turn Your Mistakes Into a Revision List
The questions you got wrong are the only revision list built from evidence. Keep them somewhere you can find.
In short
Keep one page for mistakes
Not scattered through the book. One page you can actually find.
Write the question, not the topic
‘Fractions’ is not something you can revise. The question you got wrong is.
Add one line on why
Forgot to flip the second fraction. Read the axis wrong. That line is the useful part.
Write the correct method beside it
So the page still works the day before a test.
Tick it off after two right answers
Once could be luck. Twice is learnt.
Start a fresh page each term
A short live list beats a long dead one.
