Tips After Every Maths Lesson
A lesson makes sense while someone is explaining it. These nine steps, in order, are what decides whether it is still there next week.
In short
Review
Look back over what you learnt.
1 to 3 minutes
Recall
Close your book and write down everything you can remember.
2 to 5 minutes
Organise
Organise your notes nicely. Add headings, underlines and key words.
5 to 10 minutes
Practise
Do a few questions on the topic while it is still fresh.
10 to 15 minutes
Check and learn
Mark your work. Understand any mistakes, and write down why.

Connect
Link today’s topic to other topics you already know.

Summarise
